The Halflings inhabit the Dales, Wolds and Shires of the land. Generally speaking, they like to keep themselves to themselves, minding their own business, their business being food, ale, food, pipe smoking and food.
They are not well known for their fighting abilities but when dark times loom, they muster in vast numbers. Lacking the brute force of other larger races Halflings rely on their resilience, stealth and fortitude to fend off attacks from mightier foes.
Halflings are known, on occasion, to ally with mankind and with Forest Creatures such as the mighty and ancient Tree Men.
